Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) Tender will begin on 29 April 2009

Today the government formally invited the public companies and a consortium to participate in the tender Broadband Wireless Access (BWA). Tender documents can be taken on Wednesday 29 April 2009.

Tender consists of two blocks of radio frequencies, which each have a width of 15 MHz. Namely at the frequency bands 2360-2375 MHz (block 13) and 2375-2390 (block 14).

The entire block will be used in the 15 zones that divide the regions of Indonesia. Winner of the tender will be given permission organizing principles of the network that is valid for 10 years, and can be extended to 10 years after the next evaluation.
