PT Indosat Tbk (Indosat) finally get additional 3G frequencies for cellular mobile networks. Thus, the capacity Indosat 3G services to customers will increase as the high demand for high data access today.
It is marked by the exit Kominfo Ministerial Decree no. 268/KEP/M.KOMINFO/9/2009. In these decrees, set the block allocation of radio frequency bands for cellular mobile network providers IMT 2000, the 2.1 GHz frequency band for Indosat in the frequency range 1955-1960 MHz paired with 2145-2150 MHz. Thus, the frequency of which is controlled Indosat 3G now numbering in total 10MHz.
Until now, the service of 3.5G Indosat has been able to enjoy 26 cities, namely Greater Jakarta, Banda Aceh, Medan, Batam, Palembang, Bandung, Cirebon, Semarang, Purwokerto, Yogyakarta, Solo, Cilacap, Cepu, Salatiga, Kudus, Jepara, Magelang , Surabaya, Malang, Kediri, Jember, Denpasar, Balikpapan, Samarinda, Banjarmasin, Makassar.
