Indonesia in the near future will launch nano satellites. This project is a joint plan involving several universities in Indonesia.Nano satellites are scheduled to be launched later in the year 2012. Intensive talks have been conducted between the related parties and the college.
Universities that participate in the prestigious projects that include the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh November (ITS), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Universitas Indonesia (UI), and Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). It also involved the Ministry of Communication and Information, Department of Research and Technology, Department of Fisheries and Maritime Affairs, and National Space Agency.
